Ear buds and TV speaker at the same time?

Jump to solution

I use ear buds and my wife listens with tv speakers. When I pair my ear buds with Bluetooth or plug in a pair to the remote the sound to the TV speakers is cut. Is there a workaround to have both at the same time?

Hi @Dpredbird,

A warm welcome to the Roku Community!

If you're using a private listening feature on your Roku device, automatically, the audio on your TV or device will be transmitted directly to your headphones, and the sound on your television will be muted. For more information, you may visit our support page here: How to use the private listening feature on Roku devices

If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.

All the best,

Chel
