I am having the same problem. Restarted wifi router, restarted factory settings on Roku, and tried a different wifi network. Nothing worked.

Same issue... Finally got an email, but link was expired....
Now i think im being messed with.
I keep getting my activation code is expired.
This is getting riduculous.
Same - just got two in a row. Wonder if its old ones from when we werre attempting to get it to work
I'm now receiving all the activation emails at once from my previous attempts.
