Detailed guide for all hidden menu settings?

New to Roku and got a streaming stick.  I've been going through the menus/settings and most are straight forward but Hidden Menu 2 in particular is one that I don't understand.  It seems Roku took away the option for disabling ads - OK, but what do the "cycle home screen ad banner service" options do (e.g. Demo 1,2,3, Production, QA 1, 2, 3 staging 2,3,4 etc)?  Is there a good guide or video that shows what each option in the hidden menus does?

Re: Detailed guide for all hidden menu settings?

You won't get any help from Roku.  Those "secret" screens are unsupported and can change at any time.  Searching the Internet for what others have discovered is your best bet.

Re: Detailed guide for all hidden menu settings?

Thanks for getting back to me.  I did search but unfortunately the only information I could find was older info on disabling ads.  I know that's no longer possible, but it did make me wonder what these hidden menu items do. I haven't been able to find any info sources yet.

Try changing your search terms

These are usually referred to as "secret screens" or "secret menus".
