Christmas movies are in Spanish

Jump to solution

A majority of the Christmas movies are in Spanish.  They are supposed to be in English.  All my settings are set to English.  Unfortunately the movies are advertised in English, but spoken in a voice over in Spanish.  Peacock network is the worst at this.  Please help.  I just want to get in the Christmas spirit and watch movies.

Re: Christmas movies are in Spanish

Greetings from the Roku Community, @Spalmer662!

We understand that the Spanish narration in the Christmas movies is causing you concern. No worries; help is here.

The preferred audio language selection determines which audio track you hear when watching content from a provider like The Roku Channel. Keep in mind that it is the responsibility of each channel provider to translate the content they offer. If your preferred audio language is not supported by a channel provider, content in that channel will typically be presented with an audio track in the original language of each title.

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll and select Settings.
  3. Select Audio.
  4. Select Audio Preferred Language.
  5. Choose the language for spoken audio.

For more information, you may check out this support article here on how to change the preferred language on your Roku streaming device.

We hope this helps.

Best regards,
John
