Re: Buying a new streaming device

Hi @kellycole,

Thank you for your first post here in the Roku Community!

A Roku streaming device lets you watch entertainment—like TV shows, movies, YouTube videos, and more—from the internet on your TV. Just plug it in and connect it to your Wi-Fi network. You’ll have instant access to streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ (and thousands more!) on your screen. Roku TV streaming devices are home to a massive selection of free, live, and premium TV so there’s always something great to watch. You can even sign into network TV channels with your cable login (so it’s like an extra cable box without the cost). There are no monthly equipment fees for a Roku device and you only pay for the channels you want, so you control how much you spend.

You can buy a Roku device from Roku.com or from retailers that sell streaming devices, such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target.

If there's anything else that we can do to assist you, please let us know.

Best regards,
John
