Y’all I have tried everything and I don’t understand. My roku stick has a double blinking white light and will not display ANYTHING on the screen. It’s like it’s not even plugged in to the HDMI port. I have reset, tried different cable for power, re-paired the remote, replaced the batteries in the remote. Legit done everything. Please someone tell me what to do 🤦🏼♀️🥺
Was it working previously or did you just get it?
If it shows nothing on the screen how do you know its reset?
you sure the new Batterys are fresh and pointed in right direction?
I purchased a Roku an I'm trying to connect it but I'm just getting a white blinking light and nothing Is showing on my TV screen. I thought it could of been the TV but it's doing the same on another TV. What is going on? How do I get it to work?

Try this,
Unplug all cables except the power cord, everything.
Remove any MicroSD card you may have stuck in.
This time when you reset hold the button in for a good 30 seconds Only the power cord should be in.
Hold it in for 30 seconds. This should do a factory reset.
thank you, all for your input on a very similar problem I am having. I get a white light that progresses to a blinking white light (about three or four blinks) then, no lights at all and nothing on my screen. I have tried everything that has been suggested thus far except for resetting with just the power cord plugged into the device and power source. I will try that and reset the roku to see if that works...I doubt it! But I will try. I think anyone who has this non-functioning problem, probably received a bad unit. So, if this does not work, I'll return it as I think the Roku product is inferior to, the other streaming product I have, which I've had zero problems with. I had the Roku II, I think, and that one died after a few years of usage.
I had/have a Roku 2 which Im currently not using (got a Ultra).
You guys that dont have surge control (Power strips) are asking for trouble.
I had a HD roku actually still have its unsupported now.
I never had the problem of the software not loading at all.
It makes me wonder what people are doing.
You really shouldn't throw up on them.
I've been perfectly happy with Roku's.
As with all things in tech the former Models are more buggy.
But todays Roku's are a far cry from the old ones.
I had the same problem and it was due to the little HDMI extension cable that roku provides. I plugged the stick directly and it worked. Then i plugged it again with the cable and it worked too.
This is kind of an old string theyre probably gone now. But your post
outlines what I think s the Major problem with most of the posts on this forum.
People simply dont try very hard and are not proactive in the least.
It is cheaper and much easier to get on here and whine.
I'm glad you were able to figure it out for yourself, KUDO's!
