Each time I power on my TV (and new Roku Express) I have to go through the activation process.
The Roku I have used in the kitchen has never had this issue!
Any ideas why?
How are you powering the express? Using the tv usb port? Or connected to wall outlet?

It's possible that you may have a defective device.
Can you please provide the serial number/device ID on your Roku device? I'll be able to assist you further from there.

I am experiencing the exact same issue in my theater room. I have even swapped out devices that I know are working properly. Ther is a 25' HDMI lead to my projector (short throw) and I assumed that the length of cable could be the issue so I purchased an HDMI signal amplifier, but no luck. My DVD player has no issues. Also, there are certain channels that I launch that crash the system and drop the configuration so I am continuously having to re-activate the device. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
