I have a ROKU 4800RW streaming appliance with AMAZON PRIMEVIDEO APP that will not stream DOLBY ATMOS enabled content with DOLBY ATMOS AUDIO. My ROKU box is connected to a DENON AVR for all audio processing which has an HDMI out connection to my SAMSUNG 1080p TV. I have no issues with NETFLIX streaming ATMOS enabled content. The DENON AVR detects the ATMOS signal from NETFLIX DOLBY ATMOS enabled movies and has no problems reproducing the ATMOS audio signal. The AMAZON PrimeVideo APP does not send the ATMOS enabled SIGNAL even though the content is ATMOS enabled....and yes, I have the ad-free subscription which provides for DOLBY ATMOS streaming audio. Anyone advice/insight to solving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
You may want to check this forum. It's a bit more technical. All of these HDR and stuff is very picky, and some apps are buggy, too.

... SAMSUNG 1080p TV.
I could be wrong, but I believe that PRIME VIDEO needs to see a 4K display device before it will send HDR or Dolby ATMOS. Other services may not have this requirement, which is why you aren't seeing the issue with them.
Unfortunately the Prime app's higher AV quality tagging (e.g. "Atmos") isn't entirely accurate.
Prime requires a 4K or HDR configured device in order to receive Atmos (Atmos is only encoded with 4K/HDR encoded streams).
For RokuOS devices that means a Display type = 4K TV, 4K HDR TV, 4K HDR10+ TV, 4K Dolby Vision TV (Automatic or Manual configuration).
