Hey @mE_2020_2020

If you have installed it on iPhone try turning on Roku under local network in settings and privacy in the setting area

Re: Roku mobile app isn’t working

Hi @weleyva,

Thanks for the response!

We understand that you are still having the same trouble with your Roku mobile app.

We highly suggest you try using another mobile device and downloading the Roku mobile app to see if the same issue occurs.

If the same issue happens to another device, we need the following details below to investigate the issue further:

  • When did you start to experience this issue?
  • Roku mobile app version
  • Mobile phone brand and version.

Providing these details, will help us to look closely into the issue. Please keep us posted.

Not certain what you're saying. First you say it can't find your Ultra then you say it only finds the Ultra.

Anyway, there's a setting in the menu that can turn remote access off. Look in the Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Device connect. Also look under Control by mobile apps in the same menu location. Those both have to be enabled for the app to work. Also don't forget that the network must not be public (such as dorms, hotels, or other non-private network) and even on a private network there must not be a security switch enabled that blocks WiFi devices from seeing other devices on the network. That one trips up many people.
