Roku mobile app keep getting stuck when I close the app and open it back up thus having to force close the app just to get it working again, using iPhone on latest iOS update

I e done everything over and over and over again
my Mobile roku App cannot find my Roku ultra.. on the same internet folks
only finds ultra the express Roku i the back room!
as usual Roku help is useless!

If you have installed it on iPhone try turning on Roku under local network in settings and privacy in the setting area

Roku app is not working on my phone but is working on a family members phone and we both have the same phone

Not certain what you're saying. First you say it can't find your Ultra then you say it only finds the Ultra.
Anyway, there's a setting in the menu that can turn remote access off. Look in the Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Device connect. Also look under Control by mobile apps in the same menu location. Those both have to be enabled for the app to work. Also don't forget that the network must not be public (such as dorms, hotels, or other non-private network) and even on a private network there must not be a security switch enabled that blocks WiFi devices from seeing other devices on the network. That one trips up many people.
