I have no television, but do have a phone. Can I use the Roku mobile app to stream Roku video without having a Roku device?
And what a lousy policy to get dinged for 'flooding' when I am simply trying to 'correct the highlighted error'. Very frustrating.
The Android/iOS Roku app is primarily intended as an alternate remote control device for a Roku device. The only thing one can stream with it is Roku's own The Roku Channel, but I don't know if you can do that without having a Roku device and account to connect it to.
You CAN use a web browser on a computer or mobile device to view The Roku Channel via therokuchannel.com.
The Roku Channel is currently available in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom via Roku streaming devices, internet web browsers, and mobile devices. In Mexico it is available on Roku streaming devices only. (Source: From "How do I get The Roku® Channel?" page - https://support.roku.com/article/360007223934)

Thank you so much for being as clear as you could. I will delete the app and try therokuchannel later.
