Media connectivity via Roku android app
Why do I need another app that is just another hurdle between my media and effective playback or requires a subscription fee when the Roku app can act as a remote for the TV from my phone? Shouldn't it be an option to also access my media seamlessly (& control it easily with said remote option or the physical remote)? This seems like a question I shouldn't have to raise, especially considering the community discussions regarding it being available to them & then disappearing without warning. What is being done to make this improvement to your apps a reality again (& what could have changed so drastically beyond greed/financial incentive to restrict/remove this option from your customers)?!?

Re: Media connectivity via Roku android app
Welcome to the Roku Community, @TrawleyDawdger!
Thanks for sharing this here with us. I want to help you clarify this matter.
Could you tell me what specific app you are referring to? Please note that using the Roku Mobile App is free, and doesn't require a subscription to use any of the features on the app.
We are hoping to hear back from you.
Best,
