Can someone tell me how to exit the mobile app (android)?

I had to upgrade to the latest version (12.3) a couple of days ago, and I can't figure out how to get out of it without forcing it closed.

All I need from this app is the ability to use it as a remote. Maybe there are so many "features" now, that they forgot to add "exit".

You should be able to simply close it like any other app. Either swipe it up, hold for a bit, then release, or you hit the Android close button (square.)

There should be no need to close it just to upgrade. That is all handled in the background.

Over years of use, I think I've seen around 2 android apps that have an explicit close/exit menu item.
