Missing media player codec on latest purchased roku

I have three Roku streaming devices. When running Media Player, all three will play MP3 files from my NAS. However, only two are setup to play WMA files. Displaying the Supported Files section in Help, the two devices that are playing both files show MP3 and WMA, but the third is only showing MP3.

Is there an upgrade or update available to add the missing MP3 Codec?

Re: Missing media player codec on latest purchased roku

I think you mean missing WMA.  Sorry, but the answer is, "no".

"Since Roku OS 10.5 (September 2021), the Windows Media Audio (wma) and WMApro (wmapro) audio formats are no longer supported.  Both formats were officially sunset as part of the Roku OS 12.5 release in September 2023."
