New tv? During initial setup you choose store demo mode or home use. I can't find a menu option for this after set up is finished. Unless somebody can suggest one you may need to perform a factory reset and go through the setup procedure again.

Re: Roku pop up menu guide keeps appearing on screen

It sure does sound like a Store Demo mode. I just checked the menus in my Sharp Roku TV and can find no such setting either. But it might be something manufacturer specific. What brand Roku TV do you have? I'd look within the settings menu for something labeled Store or demo mode.

Try going to Home > Settings > System > Store Settings then uncheck "Show store marketing messages".

This is what keeps popping up on my screen while I’m watching. Really annoying. TCL Model 65S421. Have to keep clicking “OK” button on remote to make it go away. Only happens while watching over-the-air tv stations. This is what keeps popping up on my screen while I’m watching. Really annoying. TCL Model 65S421. That sounds like it's getting a spurious remote signal.  Try taking the batteries out of the remote and see if it still happens.

Re: Roku pop up menu guide keeps appearing on screen

I have the same exact issue on my Hisense Roku tv model 50R6 ... This has been happening for several months now.   Seems to occur more often on channels with lower signal strength but sometimes happens on high strength channels too.  I tried removing the USB memory stick that allows pause/rewind etc  but tv still does it.    My guess is a roku software issue.   TV and remote seems to  work fine otherwise.   Can I get an opinion from Roku support please.
