Fiddler and HTTPS Decryption

Hi everyone,

We're doing some tests and here is the current scenario:
Our Roku 2 is setup so we can monitor the traffic coming from our app as it streams content, except we can only see the HTTP coming through (all the .ts chunks come in nicely). What we need is on the requests coming from the HTTPS traffic.

Is it possible to pick up and decrypt HTTPS traffic for your Roku app/channel using Fiddler?

Thanks!
Kev

Re: Fiddler and HTTPS Decryption

Hi destruk, this option is already turned on for me. Thank you for the suggestion though!

Re: Fiddler and HTTPS Decryption

Wireshark will decrypt https traffic - but it also requires the actual https certificate loaded to do it.
I haven't used Fiddler, so I was just checking over their docs...
