Version 0.10 is available and I changed the status of the project to Beta and made the first official release at:
https://github.com/lvcabral/Donkey-Kong-Roku/releases

The private channel was already updated.

Seems pretty faithful, nice work. I've noticed that jumping "back" doesn't turn Mario that direction, he jumps backward, is that the original behavior?

Yes it is, if you are facing one side, press jump and push the handle to the other direction. With Roku remote I decided to have 3 jump buttons, left, straight and right, due to the fact we can't have simultaneous pressed buttons. 
Prince of Persia does have some "inercia" that allows to jump based on the movement direction, but to emulate the jump back would be too complicated, better to have specific buttons.

I just released v0.12 now using both roAudioResource channels for sound effects and fixed some issues as well.
