why was remote fast forward changed?
Fast forward went from 4x 8x 16x 32x to 2 3 4. 2 is too fast, 3 and 4 are even worse. Can it be changed back

What app are you using? Contact that developer. The default behavior of the Fast Forward button hasn't changed since day one. If it has changed, the app's developer has overridden the default behavior.
