Re: Why is my Roku remote draining batteries and how to fix?

Over a year and the problem still persists.  I have the streaming stick plugged into the TV and the power is supplied by the TV's USB, so when the TV is off, so is the stick.  Batteries die in days, and have to replace the batteries when the TV is used only a few days out of the month.

previous answers say to do a factory reset.  That's a terrible answer, as now we have to set the stick up all over again, download apps, reauthorize, total waste of time.  This should have been resolved in a firmware update with instructions to repair the remote to the stick after the update has been applied.

Roko - you need to work on your customer satisfaction.  While the Roko product is a great alternative to cable, your hardware bugs leave much to be desired.
