Ok, so when are we to get customer service in this ?? A simple replacement of the bad remotes would please all and not cost much. 

But just think of all the remotes sold that are defective.... Too bad

Hello,

I purchased a ROKU replacement remote on Feb 4, 2021.  Remote model RC-AL7.  SKU 3226000889

A few months ago, it started draining a pair of AAA batteries in a couple weeks.

The old remote, while not pretty, will work with my ROKU Ultra for months on the same pair of AA batteries.

Can you please assist?

I’m having the same issues!  Why are there no answers or even an offer of alternative solutions?

Because their solution is to mail a new remote. And they're apparently avoiding admitting its a problem by doing the rt thing and just offering a form where users could request a replacement remote. 

Total disaster. This coupled with Prime bricking their devices. I'm not sure it worth sticking with Roku.

What kind of engineering team does ROKU have? How long will they let this problem continue?

Is Fire Stick a good alternative? Will it stream everything ROKU does.
