I’m having the same issues. I’ve replaced the batteries, performed a system restart, and plugged it into a wall outlet.

This is a common complaint from some, on all Roku models. Others have no problem with this at all (I seem to be one of the lucky ones.)
There is some anecdotal evidence that battery life can be affected for those with point-anywhere remotes that connect to the Roku via WiFi-direct. The remote has to work too hard constantly sorting through the information packets from other devices using the same channel and it uses up the batteries much too quickly.
If you have access to your router's setup, try configuring it to use a different WiFi channel to see if this helps the situation. In the 2.4 GHz band, channels 1-11 are supported. Channels 1, 6, and 11 do not overlap each other and so give you the best chance at reducing congestion, so try each in succession, although depending on what channels your neighbors are using other channels in the 1-11 range may work best. Also, reducing router bandwidth from 40 to 20 kHz may also reduce interference.
Please report back to let us know how you make out.

I am also having the same problem. At best the batteries will only last two weeks for the following Sounbar:
Model: 910X - Roku Smart Soundbar
Serial#: YL006L459770
Software version: 10.0.0 - build 4209-95

I am also having the problem of the batteries draining quickly in my remote. Have changed them 3 times in last couple weeks.

Hello @BeccaRF
Thanks for the post.
Please be advised that the Roku 4 (4400X) is an older Roku device that is no longer under warranty. It's possible that the remote may simply be on its way out. If you need a replacement remote for your Roku device, you can purchase a compatible remote on our Products page here: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/player
We appreciate your understanding.
All the best,
Kariza
I can add some info.
I have two remotes, and older RC359, and a newer RC399. Got the newer because dog damaged the older one 🙂 Controlling a roku ultra model 4660X, serial YJ00E8214975
RC399 drains batteries in 3-4 days, RC359 still works (I use it when new one dies) with batteries at least 2 months old.
RC399 has rtn.4120 firmware, and I went through the whole system reset process more than once. Didn't help.
I hope you're doing well.

Is there a fix for this? I am having the same issue, sometimes having to replace batteries daily. Very costly and annoying.
