I have a roku streaming stick and when I'm pushing buttons on the remote it usually works the first button press then stops disconnects and 5-10 seconds later reconnects by itself and shoes the batteries on the screen. It does this every 1-3 times I press any button and it is infuriating. My roku express doesn't do this with its remote and it didn't do this when I got the stick originally. Anybody know what could be wrong? Do I just need a new remote?

What was the solution for this? I'm having the exact same issue with my voice remote for our Roku Express 4k+. I've tried repairing multiple times and even factory resetting the Roku with no luck.

Noticed it when I recently when I reinstalled the device about 2 months ago (had previously been using another device to stream however lost the remote for it so reinstalled the 4k+ that I had laying around that never had this problem before)
I have paired the remote successfully and repaired it multiple times.
I've confirmed that the batteries are inserted correctly and have replaced them with brand new batteries multiple times.
