Due to TabloTv saying my Roku premier not supporting the AC3 codec, I replaced it with a Roku Ultra this week. My Roku is attached to a 6x2 HDMI switch, which goes to the other 5 TVs in the various rooms in my home. After replacing the Roku, and programming the remotes, they lose their programming within an hour, defaulting to "insignia" TVs for all 4 remotes I use. I do not have any insignia TVs in this setup. This was not a problem with my Roku premier.
Welcome to the Roku Community, @ltsiver!
We understand that your setup is somewhat unique compared to standard Roku configurations. Since you're using a single device connected to an HDMI switch that distributes the signal to five TVs, we would like to suggest a couple of options for your consideration.
First, you might find it beneficial to disable the CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature, as this could potentially alleviate some of the issues you’re encountering. Additionally, utilizing an infrared (IR) remote or your TV's remote for volume control may offer an improved user experience.
We hope you find these recommendations helpful in enhancing your overall functionality.
Thank you,

The roku ultra is configured to use IR only on all remotes. Is it still using CEC even though i've configured it to not do so?
Thank you for your response, @ltsiver!
We appreciate you sharing your setup details. To configure the remote for TV control, you might want to consider selecting the 'IR Setup' option. Given the complexity of your arrangement, there may be several factors to explore. It could also be beneficial to disable CEC control on each of the TVs. Additionally, if you are using an Insignia HDMI splitter, it might be worth investigating whether this is affecting the default settings. Performing a manual search could also help resolve any issues.
Thank you for your understanding!
Best regards,
Jharra
The HDMI Switch is just a cheap (well, around $100) on amazon, not any name brand. Turns out there's another setting under "system", "control other devices", "1-touch play" that needed to be turned off. After disabling that, the remote control settings are holding.
Edit: they all were programmed again, and lost it later. Something in your software is reprogramming the remotes after they've been configured. Have your coders disable that "feature".
