I set up the Roku Express on my Insignia TV. I discovered after setting up that the remote supplied with this earlier version that it does not have a volume control button. I need my Insignia remote to control sound only, the remote included with the Roku Express does everything else. I would like to not have to deal with two different remotes, so I purchased a supposedly universal remote on EBay with voice control, but the TV does not recognize. Are there any options for me to control everything with a single remote? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks
Hi @KevinNJ789,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
Thanks for reaching out about this. It seems like you have a Roku simple remote that doesn't have any volume or power-off buttons.
This means that this remote cannot work also to control the volume of your TV.
Here is what you can do.
We hope this helps!
Thanks,
Rey

Thanks! In further research, a Roku WiFi voice remote may be what I am looking for. I have the Roku Express, model #3930. I don't wish to spend $20-$30 on something that might not work. Amazes me there is no much confusion and mystery on such a simple issue!
