Hello. Here is the latest victim of the same issue. This remote only works when plugged into the Roku Ultra device. Based on the comments I am reading in this thread, this is clearly a defective model. Need help to make it work.

Hello,
I tried all the above. Changed the charging to a different outlet and the remote still works while connected to the outlet. I also tried to reset the remote by pressing the home+back buttons simultaneously for more than 20 seconds.
The problem still persists.
