Using Roku Voice Remote with Roku Ultra connected via HDMI to Marantz SR5015 AVR. HDMI to Samsung TV, Roku remote on button turns on Roku and TV, controls Volume of AVR, and mute. But does not turn on AVR when everything is off.
However, when everything is on, ROKU power button does turn off TV and AVR.
The issue is that I need the second remote to turn on AVR every time which is a nuisance.
Any thoughts?
Some devices don't wake up for cec signal as they might for true IR signal. Nothing Roku can do about that, sorry.
Can your AVR be set to power down to a standby setting instead of all the way off? If completely powered down, it likely can't respond to a Roku power on signal relayed to it by a CEC command from the TV.
