Me too thought it was just my older remote but it’s also happening on my new tv remote
I reset my devices by pulling the power from the wall and it went away.
So your Roku doesn’t have a power brick?
if it does - pull it from the wall and then wait 30 seconds before plugging it back in to properly reset it.
Hi, @LES5
Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.
We appreciate you for letting us know about your concern regarding your Roku remote. You can resolve this issue by performing a system restart by navigating to Settings > System > Power (skip if no sub-menu) > System Restart. After this, you can also try to unplug your Roku streaming device and TV for about 1 to 5 minutes, then plug it in again. This should improve to the issue you've encountered.
If the issue persists, please let us know, and we'll assist further.
All the best,
Kash
I have the same issue. I’ve had it now for at least the last six months on and off.
Can anyone confirm that this is only happening in the YouTube app?
