Having the same issue. Volume will only go up with my roku remote. How do I fix?
Thanks for posting here in the Community!
If you have a Roku voice remote, you can try re-pairing the remote to your device and see if that resolves the issue. Please visit this link for step-by-step instructions: How do I resolve issues with my Roku® voice remote?
Meanwhile, if it's IR remote, refer to this Support article for troubleshooting steps: How do I resolve issues with my Roku simple (IR) remote?
Keep us updated on how it goes.

My son's Roku remote is only meeting an unmuting the TV no matter what button you push
Hi @MH4
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I would recommend starting with the troubleshooting steps available in my post above. If still no luck, please reply here with the serial number/device ID of the Roku player associated with the affected remote. It can be found at the back or underneath the device itself.
Please keep us posted.
All the best,
Kariza

Volume button only turns volume up. Arrow keys only move keyboard letters diagonally. Factory reset TV. Re-paired remote.
Same problem as everyone else - the remote only turn volume up and that's it.
