Remotes

So I just purchased a voice remote to allow one remote for a Dynex TV in the office. I have cycled through so many brands without shutting off the sound, I am about to go crazy. I tried Haier (what it comes up as a default), Dynex, Hisense, LG, Samsung, and a couple of others to no avail.

Any thoughts on what brand, if any, might be the right choice?

Dynex always responded to same code set the one the admiral originally used, most of the Roku tv brands respond to this too. During programming the tv, don't have the roku buried behind the tv, if you can have line of sight from the remote to the roku you get better results. And fresh batteries.

All the line of sight was good. It's just that so many companies rebrand TVs that electronics get confused!

Dynex and Insignia are both Best Buy brands. Glad you got it working.

I also have a dynex 46" TV and using a roku express and I got roku voice remote and can't get it to recognize to control power or volume buttons.
