I have three Roku sticks on three different TVs and I am having the same issue with all three. The remote will be working fine and then the back button, fast forward, rewind, and play/pause buttons stop working. The home button and volume and mute work but nothing else. I take the batteries out and all of that but it doesn’t work. To get the buttons to work again, I have to hit the home button, go back to the app I was in and the show I was watching and then they will work but of course when I go back into the show it hasn’t saved where I was and I have to fast forward to find the spot where I left off, its really annoying.
Hey @Quinnie44,
We get that the Roku remote has an issue with multiple buttons not working.
We'd like to know the following:

Hello,
It happens often with the Xfinity app but it has also happened in other apps such as Paramount+. I have tried using the app to control the TV when this happens and it doesn’t work. I cannot fast forward, pause, all I can do is hit the Home button and then things start working again.
Also there was no option to insert a photo unlike the directions that were sent stated there would be.

Hello,
When the remote stops working the mobile app doesn’t work either. The only up that responds both on the remote and in the app is the home button. I purchased the device on Amazon on October 8, 2024 and the other one on January 14, 2024. Per the device it says that it was last updated on 1/8/25 and the last time it was checked for an update was 4/8/25. The software version is 14.1.4.
Gotcha! @Quinnie44
Thanks for keeping us posted!
Could you please follow these steps and let me know if this resolves the issue? Navigate to Home > Settings > System > Power > System Restart > Confirm Restart. Once the system has restarted, can you try accessing the apps again?
Looking forward to your response!
