Thanks for the quick response and guidance.  I confess I got lazy and just went to Best Buy and picked up a new stand alone remote, the one that is an upgrade, rechargeable with voice activation, easily paired and works great.  Thirty buck solution but hopefully it'll last a while.  Thanks again ...

That's a smart way to go.  I did that at first but now the second one has gone bad, so I am here, 😞 .

Hello All,

I received a new replacement remote, several months ago, due to my original one using up batteries too quickly.

Now, the right arrow on this remote is losing it's function. It gets worse, everyday, and my thumb is now sore. I expect it to fail totally, very soon.

Please advise, promptly, as I need a new remote, as soon as possible.
