I’m not sure as to why it’s pinging it started last night out of nowhere we thought it was an alarm going off and it was the remote. After keeping it on the charger until this morning it stopped pinging I don’t know if it was because the remote was on 50% or not. But charging it did the trick. Thanks for the quick response.

We are beyond frustrated.  We've tried going thru Roku but they don't answer the question.

Hi Mary

Not sure if you already got this, but think i timed out.

We have tried:

-taking batteries out

-new batteries

-shutting down (rebooting) roku

-shutting down the receiver (rebooting) and dvr

Have not pressed any * or other buttons 5 times.  

Please let me know what else i can do!

Has any figured this out yet stupid remote won’t stop beeping

We unplugged ours from the wall and plugged it back in after the usual 10-second wait and, mercifully, it stopped beeping. I don’t know why that worked for us but hasn’t worked for others.
