Remote not blinking / working at all

I've been trying to use the remote but is not working. The green light is not blinking. I changed batteries already and tried pairing it with the back and home button pressed at once. Also plugged and unplugged Roku device for more than 20 seconds. This is the Roku Stick (S/N CT3886467988) and the remote control is (Model: RC-AL2, SKU: 3226000284).

Since you've already tried to troubleshoot your remote to no avail seems like you need a replacement for it. Could you please share the following information and we'll see what we can do:

  • Is this the remote that came with it or was this purchased separately? What model is this remote?
  • When and where did you purchase this?
We also recommend following our troubleshooting steps to assist you in resolving these remote issues:

I've tried all of those troubleshooting steps and it's still not working. It's Model RC-AL2 and it came with the Roku. I purchased it a couple of years ago at Target.
