I have only read about this with the Ultra models. What software and build version?

Fire up your Roku and TV and do the following:
Press the Home button on the remote.
Find Settings in the menu that appears.
Find System info and select it.
Open the About option.

Same remote as me. Hopefully they fix this issue. It's a major pain and makes the device near useless.
@Rocko9999 @randys - so is there not a fix for this? Do I have to buy a new remote?

If any of you have the Roku app on your phone, next time your Roku remote stops working see if the Roku app will work.
I do have it and this morning it happened and the Roku app didn’t work the first couple times I tapped it but it worked much faster than before when the remote wouldn’t work so I’m still confused.

Roku sent me a new remote, I appreciate that.
It is still doing the same thing and when the Roku remote stops working I grab my phone and get the Roku remote on my iPhone and it also does not work so it’s not a remote problem it is a device problem.
Still no resolution for me either.
