Remote battery indicator flashing with new fully charged remote

I'm having the same issue.  2nd remote with same issue.  Didn't get it wet, it just shows a fully charged remote battery and it freezes the screen for up to 60 seconds.  The frequency that this indicator pops up is random, but my last one got progessively worse over time.  Could a Roku rep please contact me to send a resplacement?

Re: Remote battery indicator flashing with new fully charged remote

Hi @chrisj333,

Thank you for posting here in the Roku Community!
We'd like to investigate this issue further. What kind of Roku device are you using right now? (Roku Express, Roku streaming stick, Roku Ultra, Roku streambar, Roku TV-Specify) When did the issue start? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

With detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,

Re: Remote battery indicator flashing with new fully charged remote

Same issue with brand new Roku and Roku remote. Indicator appearances is becoming more frequent. Showing random bat status, but every time I check the battery status in the settings, it shows a reasonable percentage
