I wish I knew also. I just got my roku 4k+ with the voice remote. When setting up the tv was not responding to the remote so I plugged it in to charge it. I'm not sure how long it is going to take nor do I know if that is the problem. It would be nice if ROKU included all those details, in the box! I did hunt down a reply from someone that said a charge takes anywhere from 2-3 hours. Well? It should have stated in the box instructions to charge the remote first, if that is the problem.
