That's not what Roku means by "quick launch", so you may be confusing two different things. The four buttons at the bottom of the remote (that many people hate) are "Partner" buttons. There's no way to know what you'll get when you purchase a remote. The Voice Remote Pro v1 and v2 have "Quick Launch" buttons, but they function differently on each one. On the v1 remote, you can program the two available buttons to launch two different apps immediately. On the v2 remote, the one "Quick Launch" button can be programmed to launch two different apps, but there's an extra step involved to choose which of the two programmed apps gets launched.
The remotes available at different retailers have different Partner buttons, but there's still no way of knowing what you'll get without opening the box. I don't think you can go by the picture on the box, but I'm not sure. The box may very well show blank buttons reinforcing the fact that you don't know what you'll get.
