Keep in mind that that remote won't work for any of the stick models that plug directly into your TV without any HDMI cable.

If the Roku is an express or premiere that accepts IR commands, try codes 03061 & 02371 which are cable codes.

Here is what I did: have your roku tv connected to ethernet cord. I held down the reset button. It will show a language screen. Then, I unplugged the the tv. Next, I manually turned the TV on. At this point original setting should appear like you originally had it. Lastly connect your phone via roku app!
