My voice pro remote also stopped working.

  • It's not that old, and it says it's asleep. Nothing works on it. Tried different charging cables, boxes, outlets, tried repairing it. Nothing. I can't afford to replace yet another roku remote. This is my 4th roku and like my 8th or 9th remote. I'm frustrated!

We appreciate you reaching out to us for support, and we'd be happy to offer further troubleshooting steps to help you fix your Roku Voice Remote Pro.

Firstly, please confirm whether this is the Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition) or the regular Voice Remote Pro. Also, when and where did you purchase this? Additionally, try to troubleshoot your remote by following the steps provided below:

Reboot your remote

  • If your rechargeable voice remote has a pairing button, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the remote for 20 seconds.
  • If your rechargeable voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds.

When the status light stops flashing, your rechargeable voice remote has successfully rebooted.

Reboot your streaming device

  1. Remove the power cable from your streaming device
  2. Wait at least 5 seconds
  3. Re-connect the power cable
  4. Wait for your streaming device to power on and the Home screen to appear on your TV.
  5. Once you see the Home screen, try to use your remote to control your device.
