Greetings here in the Roku Community, @Cack!
Thank you for letting us know about the issues you're experiencing with your Roku remote hands-free voice. No worries; we're here to help!
To get started, please specify if this is a Voice Remote Pro or Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition). If you use the Roku Remote 2nd edition, please verify that the hands-free button is enabled. It is recommended that this feature be turned on for optimal use. Once you've done this, try to trigger the lost remote finder by saying, "Hey Roku, where's my remote?" in a clear and direct tone.
Alternatively, you can use the mobile app like a remote to activate the lost remote finder in the Settings menu.
- Select the Remote icon from the navigation bar to control your Roku device
- Press HOME to go to the Home screen on your streaming device
- Select Settings
- Select Remotes & devices
- Select Remotes
- Select your remote
- Select Find remote
We also suggest to try rebooting your remote by following the steps provided:
- If your rechargeable voice remote has a pairing button, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the remote for 20 seconds.
- If your rechargeable voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home for 20 seconds.
This should resolve the issue you are experiencing; however, if it is still unresolved, please reply, and we can assist you further.
Thanks,
Jharra
