Roku says 3.1 and 5.1 audio are supported on the newer soundbars. But does that Soundbar have to be the primary Roku device, or can I use my RokuTV as the 'home base'? I already have two front wireless speakers and plan to buy two rear (4.0), then sub (4.1), then middle speaker to complete the 5.1 set. Will that work?
No, it won't work. The first set of wireless speakers are paired to a roku tv, the second pair has to be paired to roku soundbar, streambar, or streambar pro. Sorry.
