My daughter pulled the tag thing on the remote that does the pairing off before it was time so now the remote won't work and I'm unable to pair it to the stick, I pushed reset on the stick but it went right back to the pairing screen and I don't know what else to do please help me

That pull tab, on remotes that are supplied with replaceable batteries in place, just prevents the batteries from connecting so the batteries stay fresh until the tab is pulled.

If the remote is in pairing mode but you see no acknowledgement of this on the screen try pulling the Roku's power for a few seconds then plugging it back in.

In addition to what our Streaming Expert provided above, you may also try to Reboot your remote by following these steps:

1. Remove the battery cover on the back of your remote
2. Remove both batteries from the battery compartment
3. Re-insert the negative (-) end of a battery first and then gently push the positive (+) end until the battery clicks into place
4. Repeat the previous step to install the second battery
5. Put the battery cover back on your remote
