Bought a TCL Roku TV on FB marketplace. Turns on fine but I can’t get past the language selection screen because I can’t connect a remote. And of course I can’t use the app because the tv isn’t connected to my wifi yet. I have an old remote but it has no pairing button and no light. If I get a new voice remote will it pair with this TV? Is there a way I can use my app?

I think most TV's should still work with a universal IR remote. You can probably find a replacement most everywhere.

@carvet, another option is the Roku simple remote for Roku TVs.  The simple remote for Roku players won't work with TVs.
