I plugged in a LED light strip via USB on the side of the TV. When the Element ROKU TV turned off the lights would turn off in approx. 15 minutes after the ROKU TV was shut off. Our community has a new cable company (Hotwire) that runs off of fiber optic. They had to come in to install all new materials. Now the same light strip stays on all night after the TV is turned off. I switched the USB option in the ROKU TV settings to both on and off ( it was on auto) and that did not fix the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @SharkBite,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We understand that your Roku Smart Lights Strip+ SE is not turning off even if your television is already turned off. We would be more than willing to sort this out for you.
Please be aware that our Roku Smart Lights Strip+ SE cannot be connected to the USB port on your TV. Instead, it is designed to plug directly into a power outlet. Please see the image below for clarification.
For more help, please visit our Roku Support article on how to set up your Roku Smart Light Strip SE or Roku Smart Light Strip+ SE.
We hope you find this information helpful.
