My best guess is that Roku broke the app so that it no longer schedules more than two events per user login.  The bug appears to involve events in the "rules" list, as well as in the "sleep routines" settings.  I have seven Roku light and power devices.  It takes two scheduled rules to tell just one device when to stop and when to start.  After I make two rules, the app cuts me off.  It doesn't tell me that I cannot make more rules.  It just ignores and fails to execute whatever rules I establish after the first two.  Besides ignoring my new rules, the app even malfunctions by telling me that I made those rules for different devices from the devices that I actually selected while trying to make them.

I made a new Roku login, put the timing of my front door light on that login, and signed out.  Then I put the rest of my devices on another Roku login and signed into it.  I think that once a device knows its new rule, it continues to follow that rule, regardless of whether or not the app is signed into the login that started the rule.  I hope that works for me.  I have to wait and see.

This is a terrible bug.  Roku, please fix!

I agree with the comments here; the schedule in the app is broken, and it's become quite frustrating. Here’s what I've done to try to fix it:

1. I have gone over https://support.roku.com/article/7875705451415 several times.
2. I have reinstalled the app multiple times.
3. I performed a factory reset on the bulbs I have and added them back a few times.
4. The schedule is just not working.
5. Occasionally, when I try to add a standalone bulb to the schedule, it shows up as a doorbell, and the schedule won’t save, resulting in an error.

I’m really disappointed that Roku, with all its technology and brand recognition, hasn’t been able to resolve this issue. It causes all sorts of inconveniences, and it seems like they’re taking their time to release a proper update. I'm using the Roku Smart Home app on a Pixel 9, and it certainly doesn’t indicate any compatibility issues.

Please fix the scheduling in app.

Thanks.
