Hello,
My onn. Roku TV has, for the last day or so, been stuck in two different modes:
- First, it was endlessly stuck in a loop of booting up, landing on the gray [onn. • Roku TV] loading screen for thirty seconds or so, then going black, rebooting, and landing back on the same screen.
- Then, at some point (I think I unplugged it for some time and replugged it) it booted up to the same screen, but kicked me to the purple Recovery Mode screen, where it asks for a language, then to connect to the Internet, then to select "Update Now" after a successful connection, at which point it presumably downloads the update, restarts, and goes back to the first title screen before repeating the process.
I've tried resetting with the button on the back, but it does the same thing—it shows the title screen for thirty seconds or so, then goes to Recovery Mode.
I feel as though I've tried everything else that users in similar threads have suggested, and yet nothing is working. Please help!

Im stuck on the recovery page where you can select the language but when my tv randomly went into factory reset it lost connection to the remote and now it won’t connect to the tv. So I cannot select a language. Cannot even connect the app remote.
Is this problem solved yet?!?!
So, I went to go turn on my Roku TV that I have had for probably about 2 and a half years and when I turned it on, a purple screen popped up that said Recovery Mode in the corner of it. I thought it was just something random so I just complied with all the instructions it told me to go by (which were choose a language, WiFi connection, and then update) so I updated the TV. When the update was over, the TV kept restarting itself. Occasionally, the TV screen would say “Installing updates - 0% *loading*” but then it would just freeze and restart itself. Can somebody help me, please? This is driving me crazy. Thank you.

I am having the same issue and no solution works. I cannot get past the select language screen as no remote will connect to the tv anymore. I’ve went through a million articles and still nothing works.
