How do we undo TV updates then? (Since mine and probably everyone else's is doing this.) 55s401
My tv is doing the same thing. I’ve updated it and reset it. Still goes back to same screen
Same thing here, just happened today, maybe it's a bad software update from the manufacturer, hopefully they'll fix it !!!!

I bought a brand new tv today and it's stuck in the reboot loop brand new out of the box!
Not impressed at all. When can we expect this problem to be rectified? My other tv was stuck in recovery mode and I had no choice but to buy another one. Now the new one isn't useable.
If the problem is going to be solved soon, I'll keep the new tv.
Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!
We apologize for the issue with your Roku TV being stuck in a reboot loop. We're pleased to assist you.
Have you tried performing a hard reset on your TV using the physical button?
Located on the back or bottom of your device, the physical Reset button is either tactile or a pinhole design that requires a straightened paper clip. It will appear similar to one of the following:
Once you locate the Reset button and your Roku device is powered on, press and hold the button firmly for about 10 seconds. When the factory reset is complete, an indicator light or status LED will blink rapidly on most Roku devices.
You can also try to use the recovery mode. For detailed help, learn how to use Recovery Mode on your Roku TV.
If the issue persists, please provide the information requested above so we can investigate further.
Thanks,
Arjiemar
I know this may sound crazy, but this actually worked for me:
Do the usual hit the reset button for 30 secs or until the the recovery screen comes on.
When it gets to the first page where you choose a language, instead of choosing English
choose Spanish. (I told you it sounded crazy) Try and follow the menus till you get to
the download page. After you update, it should no longer be stuck in a loop. During
the process, it will ask again what language you want and you can choose English if you prefer.
Give it a try, I hope it works for you like it did for me. Good luck 🙂
