ONN Roku TV stuck in recovery mode please help

I was gifted a brand new Roku (onn) had it since January I wanted to play on my gaming console and soon as I turn it on I get a recovery screen I talked to customer support and even the manufacturers same responses I’ve hard reset it and did a soft reset and nothing is working just a constant recovery loop.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you've been facing with your ONN Roku TV stuck in recovery mode and the steps you took to resolve it. We are aware of this, and our engineering team has been investigating it closely.

In the meantime, please help us to provide the details so we can send additional information for the investigation to our engineering team below as follows:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version. (These can all be found in Settings > System > About).
  • Tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID).

We look forward to hearing your response and receiving your device details.

All of a sudden this morning my tcl Roku tv shut off and on started to reboot then shut off again it’s been looping in this cycle all day. Won’t get past the tcl Roku tv screen before it shuts and repeats. I’ve unplugged for over 30 seconds and tried a different outlet. No power buttons on this model. Don’t know what else to do.

Same thing happened to me this morning. From information I’ve gathered during some researching for the last few hours it appears they must have pushed out an update overnight that may have a glitch. I’ve come to the conclusion that we are out of luck until they realize this and patch their mistakes in a new software update. Hopefully it’s soon because I’m not a very patient person, lol.

Thanks for bringing to our attention the trouble you've encountered with your TCL Roku TV, which is stuck in a reboot loop.

We'd like to determine if your Roku TV restarts randomly before or after the update. Have you tried plugging the TV into a different power outlet? Is there an error message displayed before the TV restarts? When did the issue first occur?
