[Under Investigation] Insufficient Memory Error

Hey everyone,

Status Update 3/28: We’re investigating the “Insufficient Memory” error affecting some users.

In the meantime, we recommend restarting the Roku device, as this may temporarily resolve the issue.

We appreciate your patience, and we’ll keep you updated with any progress. Thanks for being part of our community!

YouTube TV not enough space

YouTube TV was working fine then one day I go to watch and I'm getting a 'Not enough space' error message even though I haven't installed any new apps. I deleted several apps to try and resolve the issue but I still get the same error message. My player sits directly next to my Internet cube so I don't think my internet is the issue. I also play other apps just fine. I'm only get the message with YouTube TV.

Re: YouTube TV not enough space

@tawa-

That often is a symptom of a corrupted memory cache. This can generally be cleared up by restarting the Roku.

Depending on your Roku model you'll find the "System restart" option under "Settings > System > Power", or on models without a Power option, under "Settings > System".

Note: If you have a Roku TV with "Fast TV start" enabled, turning the TV off and back on just puts it into and out of a standby state and does NOT give you a complete restart. Use the menu option above.

If a restart doesn't do it, or if you don't have sufficient control with the remote to navigate the Roku menus, you can also restart by pulling the power plug to the Roku for a few seconds then plugging it back in and waiting for it to restart.

Yes, the system Restart resolved my issue.

Thanks:)

Error "Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again"

What’s the solution here?  I have tried all these and nothing works. I have an almost empty sd card and Netflix will not load. Frustrating.

Re: How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'

the only thing that seemed to help me was having to make a whole new roku account with a new email

Re: How to fix error message 'Not enough space. Please delete some apps and try again'

This didn’t work for me. All my streaming disappeared and after a reset and unplugging the TCL TV I still get the not enough space message. My Wi-Fi signal is excellent.

Re: Not Enough Memory and saying Remove Apps. Tv will not open any apps or play any channels. Need t

I cannot access my STARZ app. I went to the Support website and put in the information as it states on the message not enough memory. I also deleted some apps that I don’t use to free up space. I still get the same message. I automatically renew on February 18, 2025. If I cannot get this to work, do I need to just cancel?

@Kyoung734 Try unplugging the power your Roku device or TV for 60 seconds to clear the cache.
