Same issue. Worked awesome for months and today I created a new album and all albums are now jacked up. Please fix quick Roku - This was a great app. Now with junk aspect ratios it’s unusable

I also tried all those things and reconnecting my Google albums to photo stream. No luck!

I’m having the same problem. Photos on photo stream are distorted.

Same issue here. I switched back to the larger Home Screen icons thinking it might help but it did not. 

As others have said, it does not distort every photo, but it does distort many of them. Here’s an example:
